I used to live at 108 Johnston Road and the old Sing Woo Pawn Shop was a local landmark. As is often the case with something you see everyday I tended to take it for granted though always thinking I must photograph this building. One evening I finally got around to it, thunk! went the shutter on my Pentax. The very next day the lights went out and and about two years later it became a restaurant and bar. Lucky.
This is an archival pigment print on a beautiful lustre paper. Limited edition, signed and numbered on the back of the print. It is shipped in a tube.
