The busiest street crossing in the World's busiest shopping district, shot here from the top deck of a tram. Timing and planning are the key ingredients to this shot. Making sure I boarded this tram at just the right moment so it would be caught at the start of the light sequence favouring the pedestrians took a few tries, also needed to shoot on a sunny Saturday afternoon to get the busiest crossing. This is one whole roll of 35mm film shot with a motor drive.
This is an archival pigment print on a beautiful baryta paper. Limited edition, signed and numbered on the back of the print. It is shipped in a tube.
