This is a photograph of the classic red Hong Kong taxi speeding through the Causeway Bay pedestrian crossing outside Sogo Department Store. The effect of motion is created by panning the camera along with the taxi. The yellow glow is the pedestrian crossing stripes in the foreground and Sogo's 2012 Chinese New Year decorations in the background.
This is an archival pigment print on a beautiful lustre paper. Limited edition, signed and numbered on the back of the print. It is shipped in a tube.
